In 2005 I was commissioned by film preservationist David Shepard to compose a whole new score for a well known silent feature film made in 1927. My score was performed and recorded by the Mont Alto Motion Picture Orchestra with DVD produced by Image Entertainment listed as 'Special Edition'. The disc is still available but is becoming difficult to find. The film can be viewed in its entirety at the Internet Archive: https://archive.org/details/TheCatAndTheCanary1927DVDRipSiRiUsSHaRe/
