| Description |
The ballet Herodia, was composed in 2011 and arranged for a wind, string and piano ensemble. The short peculiar dance interlude featuring Herodia 'the beautiful puppet' was extracted from the larger work and transcribed for woodwind quintet by the composer. The plot of the ballet is based on the life of a late 19th century country entertainer in Pennsylvania and a runaway. |
