| Description |
Herodia, the ballet, was composed in 2011 and arranged for a wind, string and piano ensemble. The short peculiar dance interlude featuring Herodia 'the beautiful puppet' was extracted from the larger work and transcribed for woodwind quintet by the composer. The plot of the ballet is based on a true story of a late 19th century country entertainer in Pennsylvania and a runaway who became the star of the show until she disappeared. |
